After-School Activities

The after-school program at the Lycée Français International Théodore Monod is designed to support each child’s personal development. It aims to enrich their sensitivity, strengthen their intellectual and physical abilities, and encourage both personal growth and active participation in community life.

This program addresses students’ identified needs and aligns with the educational priorities shared by our various partners. It is open to all students who wish to take part in enriching activities during their free time.

One of LFITM’s key priorities is to offer a wide range of sports and cultural activities, allowing every student to thrive and develop their full potential. Our Saadiyat campus features outstanding sports and cultural facilities, including an auditorium, a swimming pool, gymnasiums, and basketball, volleyball, and football courts.

School Meals

School Meals: a new offer tailored to every student’s needs

For this new school year, LFITM is partnering with Food Nation, our new catering provider, to offer a redesigned meal service — more diverse, more flexible, and always focused on students’ well-being and nutritional needs.

🍽️ A personalized offer by grade level:

From Nursery to Grade 1, families can order complete lunch trays, delivered directly to the classroom.

From Grade 2 to Grade 5, a hot meal counter — cafeteria-style — will be available in the primary canteen, offering a friendly and independent dining experience.

Students in Grades 4 and 5 will also have access to the “Grab & Go” corner located in the secondary canteen.

📲 Easy and quick ordering through the dedicated SPARE app, making meal planning simpler for families.
🍱 For the youngest students in Nursery, the lunch box system remains available to offer greater flexibility.

With this new offer, we aim to promote healthy eating habits while taking into account each student’s preferences and specific nutritional needs.

School Transport

  • Home-to-school routes: The service covers morning and afternoon trips within a defined perimeter around the school, with an optimized travel time of less than one hour.
  • Supervision and safety: An English-speaking attendant is present on each bus, alongside the driver, to ensure students’ safety throughout the journey. Seats are equipped with belts adjusted to the students’ size, and families of Nursery students must provide car seats for their children.
  • Regulations and compliance: Each bus can accommodate between 22 and 33 students, in accordance with DOT standards. iPads are not permitted on the buses and must be kept in students’ bags.
  • Optimized organization: Routes and schedules are carefully planned to ensure smooth and efficient journeys for everyone. Punctuality and respect for bus stops are essential for the proper functioning of the service.
  • The service is available to all students in good health who do not require medical assistance during the journey.
  • Enrollment is subject to acceptance of the school transport regulations. In case of non-compliance with these rules, the school administration reserves the right to suspend access to the service, either temporarily or permanently.
To register or re-enroll your child, please complete the dedicated form. Payment of transport fees must be made to the LFITM accounting department on behalf of Elite School Buses Transportation.

Families residing outside Abu Dhabi Island will be contacted directly by the transport company to arrange specific pick-up arrangements for their children.
